Sanju's twins take flight

Sanjay Dutt and Manyata's babies Iqra and Shahraan have just received their passports. They are expected to travel abroad for the first time.

The twins who were born premature (October 2010), are now nearly four months old and this will be their first official outing. Iqra has light eyes but she looks like her mother Manyata and Shahraan is quite like our Sanju baba. And the reason why they will board that flight to Bangkok is because Mr and Mrs Dutt want the babies with them for their wedding anniversary on February 11. It so happens that Sanju is in Bangkok for the shooting of his home production Rascals. Mana is keen to join her husband there. However she wasn't happy at the thought of leaving the babies back. Our source says, "Mana first checked with the doctors whether it is safe for the twins to travel. Since she got a go-ahead from the doctor, she has decided to take the kids, their nanny and the whole shebang that goes when you travel overseas with babies-in-arms."

Halle Berry 'dropped out of movie to avoid leaving daughter with ex'

New York, Feb 05 (ANI): Halle Berry dropped out of upcoming flick, 'New Year's Eve', due to concerns over leaving her daughter with ex Gabriel Aubry in Los Angeles, according to reports.

The ensemble film would have allowed for both Aubry and Nahla, 2, to join Berry during its production in New York, but Aubry suddenly decided he didn't want to make the trip, adding to their ongoing custody issues, reports People mag.

"When Gabriel refused to go, that became a factor in her decision to pull out of the film," the New York Daily News quoted a source as saying.

"She didn't feel right leaving Nahla."

And though Berry's scenes were supposed to take just two weeks to film, the source explained that "no job is that important to Halle."

"Nahla comes first," the insider added. (ANI)

Pregnant Posh 'over the moon' after being told she's carrying a baby girl

London, Feb 5 (ANI): Pregnant Victoria Beckham is 'over the moon' after her doctor revealed that a hospital scan indicates she's expecting a girl. The singer-turned-fashion designer and her soccer star husband David had been desperate for a daughter to add to their three young sons.

"David and Victoria are over the moon," the Sun quoted a close family friend as saying."This will be their last child and to be told they are having a girl is the icing on the cake for the Beckham clan," the friend added.

Victoria, 36, had a scan in January at the private Rivers Hospital near her family home in Sawbridgeworth, Herts, where medics were unable to establish the gender of her child.

But after a 16-week ultrasound scan nearly a fortnight later she was told she was expecting a girl. Posh then returned for a 4D scan and was told her daughter was healthy and developing perfectly. (ANI)

Yathe.. is topping the charts: G V Prakash

The first time director Vetrimaaran and music director G V Prakash sat down to work on the music of Aadukalam, the young composer hummed a tune that he thought would fit in the scheme of things.

Today, that particular tune which blossomed into the chartbuster that is Yathe Yathe... has turned out to be the most important song in his career.

"It's topping the charts on every radio station," beams an excited Prakash, who has composed and sung the foot-tapping song, "And, it's become a hot number in college culturals in the city. I'm told that whenever it is played, the students dance, whistle and enjoy themselves to the hilt."

Even as he is basking in the success of the superhit song, GV has moved on and started work on his first Bollywood film, titled Joker. "I'm giving it my best," he says, "As this is my first Hindi flick, I want my music to sound as fresh as possible for the listeners. I'm trying to be reborn with this album, musically."

The musician is hoping that this film, which stars Akshay Kumar and Sonakshi Sinha in lead roles, will provide him the big break in Bollywood. "I've already finished work on two songs," says GV, who is currently in Mumbai for the recording, "As the film will be in the sci-fi genre, the songs will be high on energy, and appeal to the masses."

So, is he planning to croon in Hindi too? "Well, I'm hoping to sing one number," he smiles, "There's a luck factor associated with the songs I sing among my compositions. Right now, I'm working towards getting my Hindi diction right."

Back home, he has director Vijay's film with Vikram to look forward to. "My personal favourite is Vizhigalil Oru Vaanavil..., which has the potential to become a chartbuster," he reveals, "But there's one more song which is sung by actor Vikram!" So, did he opt for actor Vikram's voice because they'd already collaborated in Madrassapattiam? "Well, the character was required to sing and we asked Vikram. He readily agreed and it! 's come out well."
