Siruthai Tamil Movie Review
Before booking tickets for Siruthai, youll have to make sure about certain things. Incisively, you are not supposed to think about Logics. Siruthai is a pakka commercial entertainer engrossing in many portions. Its a special treat for B and C centres that establishes Karthi as a commercial hero. Although, the film happens to be a remake of yesteryear Telugu movie Vikramarkudu, director Siva has made so many changes in screenplay, especially in the first half.
The film revolves around chiselers Rocket Raja (Karthi) and Kaattu Poochi (Santhanam) leading a happy life through conniving acts. When they head for a marriage function in ECR to loot money and gold articles, he comes across a beautiful girl Swetha (Thamannah), who falls in love with him instantly. She even manages to gain her parents support for their marriage. But hell breaks loose out, when a girl child claims Rocket Raja as her father. Later Raja learns that she is none other than the daughter of Rathinavelu IPS (again played by Karthi), who possesses his identical looks.
Karthi seems to have undergone lot of homework during the pre-production phase. It is very much illustrious with his ability to emote well in both the roles. As a police officer, he has done a remarkable job as he emotes aggressively in all his portions. Watch out for his performance during the action sequences of intermission, he stands over the top. On pars, as a funny chiseler he does his best in ticking our funny bones.
The comedy portions involving Karthi and Santhanam during the first half is so engaging. Karthis style of dialogue deliveries as Rocket Raja is so trenchantly done. Watch him out while saying Kanna Laddu Thinna Aasaya Kanna Rendavadhu Laddu Thinna Aasaya. The post-flashback sequence involving Rocket Raja as Rathinavelu in hilarious shades lets you enjoy to the core. Bomb blasting drama set up by Karthi ! and Sant hanam throws huge laugh-riots amongst the audiences. Thamannah is so annoying with her exaggerated performance. She doesnt suit the role as she looks so modern and flashy with her costumes. She tries imitating Anushka with her hip movements, which is so clumsy. Karthis facial expressions have to be slightly improvised.
Musical score by Vidhyasagar is so disappointing. Really wondering how Karthi could approve the songs that in no way entertain us. None of the songs are atleast the average level except the title song Naan Romba Nalla. The background score doesnt enhance the visuals in anyway. Cinematography by Velraj requires special mention as the camera angles are so innovative. Art direction by Rajeevan is extraordinary, his bridge work during climax portions is really breathtaking.
Siva could have trivialized few discontinuities and avoided few boring sequences that were present in original version.
On the whole, Siruthai can be watched for the sake of entertainment. Dont expect too much from the film and youre sure to enjoy the show.

Krishnaben wants to play Ranbir's mom
"I see a lot of talent in young actors these days and I am very impressed with Ranbir Kapoor's work. He was very good in 'Raajneeti' and he just keeps getting better with every film. I am really waiting to play ma to Ranbir someday," said Indira during a casual chat on the sets of the show here.
"I started doing ma roles at a very young age, and I enjoy doing them. I never liked playing a negative mother, but I think it is very interesting to play a mom with grey shades," said the actress, a fan of Reema Lagoo's body of work as on screen mother.
Indira is being lauded for her positive role in "Krishnaben Khakhrawala" and so she hopes she plays "a good ma on the big screen".
She has become a household name ever since she started playing Krishnaben, a 45-year-old woman who runs a home business of khakhras, a Gujarati speciality. The character has become famous for its bubbliness, simplistic ways of handling day-to-day issues with 'Krishnagiri' and street smartness.
Dressed in a three quarter-sleeved blouse with a simple sari, her hair tied in a ponytail, neatly set on one side of the shoulder and a big red bindi, Indira was just out of a shoot in her trademark on screen look.
The moment you ask her about the red bindi, she retorts: "I know I am playing a widow in the show, and my character Krishnaben wears it for her children's sake. But even generally, what's the harm? God forbid, it happens with your mother; would you like to see her in a white sari all the time? It can make people psychic!"
"Besides, there is a sea change in the portrayal of mothers on screen nowadays. Gone are the days when a widowed mother used to sit in a corner wea! ring a w hite sari and just crying all the time. Mothers are strong and ambitious these days and know how to prove themselves even if they have no man in their life," said Indira, a mother to a three-year-old boy in real life.
Though she is only in her 30s, playing a 45-year-old mother on TV is not quite the challenge for Indira, who earlier played mother in shows like "Ek Ladki Anjaani Si", "Ayushman" and "Rehna Hai Teri Palkon Ki Chhaon Mein".
"I started doing ma roles at a very young age, and I enjoy doing them. So, the biggest challenge in this role was not the character's emotions, strength and the fact that I had to play a mother. The challenge was that I am a south Indian, and I had to play a typical, middle-class Gujarati woman. Getting the Gujarati accent right was the biggest chunauti for me in this show," she said.
Indira is extremely happy with the response she has got with the show.
"I am amazed how this character has become an icon for many people. I get a lot of fan mail from people of all ages and I am surprised with the kind of problems they hope I can solve the way I solve them in my show. The basic underlying message of the show is how even the biggest of problems in life can be overcome with a smile on your face and determination in your heart, and I hope people imbibe from it."

My assets are unimpressive: Kelly Brook
The 31-year-old star, however, explained she is proud her assets are her own.
"Well, they''re mine so that''s nice. They''re not fake, but they hang a bit," Contactmusic quoted her as saying.
"They''re not super-perky because they''re so big. That''s always a big disappointment, I think. Like when you take your top off and they go flop," she added.

Ragini prays for one more Jhalak
The most nervous participants of this week include Ragini Khanna and Anita Lokhande. Sources from sets reveal that Ragini Khanna was engrossed in prayers just before the shoot of Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa began. The reason was the elimination that was to be announced on the first episode of Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa. Ragini was seen constantly prayingto God and sources say her words were " Ek baar Jhalak aur dikhla du bhagwan bus Ek Baar '.
On the other hand Ankita Lokhandewas also seen telling Remo D'Souza before the shoot began that she is pretty sure that she will be eliminated today. But will they be voted out or is someone else on the list?

SRK runs down Zeenat Aman
Actor Shah Rukh Khan hosted the Screen Awards this year, and there are rumours that his remarks on yesteryear actresses Asha Parekh and Zeenat Aman didn't go down too well with them. Apparently, SRK, it is heard, made some derogatory remarks about the actresses' anatomy.
However, both actresses confirmed that they in fact loved Shah Rukh Khan and didn't feel offended in any way. They said that they were informed about what Shah Rukh was to say before the event and gave their consent for the same.
Asha and Zeenat also maintained that Shah Rukh didn't mean or say anything derogartory. Everything was done in good humour and that one needs to learn to laugh at oneself too, sometimes.
So all's well that ends well. And Shah Rukh remains a great guy in the eyes of these two lovely ladies.

Farah Khan ousts Salman for Shah Rukh?
Farah Khan is on a making up spree. Her war with Shah Rukh Khan was well-known, and only recently, she is known to have gone into his van, and sorted out their differences. Very recently, Farah also made up with Vidhu Vinod Chopra. Now the problem is that Farah Khan gets on well with so many people after burying the hatchet, that one wonders whom she is going to cast for her next film.
Farah who had worked with Shah Rukh Khan only, till the fall out happened, gets along well with her 'Tees Maar Khan' actor Akshay Kumar famously. Whilst she was at loggerheads with Shah Rukh, she found a new and true friend in Salman Khan.
In fact, when the critics were harsh on her in their reviews of 'Tees Maar Khan', word got to Salman that Farah was feeling low. He is known to have called her up and asked her not to worry. He apparently even told her that she could go ahead and write a script and that he would do her film even if the rest of the world rejected it.
Farah, however, has gone on the backfoot now and says that she needs no 'helping out'. She confirms that 'Tees Maar Khan' is a hit and that she has already started writing her next script with much confidence. With her having patched up with Shah Rukh, there are great chances that the Badhshah Khan will star in her next, even though Farah maintains that casting for the film is a thing of the distant future.
Only time will tell which of the superstars is closest to Farah's heart. And the diplomatic 'all of them are' will be the most boring answer.

I dont feel married: Imran
The couple is off to Thailand Tuesday for their honeymoon but not alone - 50 guests will be accompanying the newly-weds.
Imran, who had been dating Avantika for the past eight years, had a registered marriage at his superstar uncle Aamir Khan's house in Pali Hill.
After the wedding, Imran came to his house with his newlywed wife in a black Porsche decorated with white flags with "Just Married" written on them. The house was decorated with flowers and lights
Both wore beautiful traditional wedding costumes - Avantika was wearing a light grey lehenga choli with a red border and gold work and Imran was dressed in a black bandhgala.
"I'm not feeling married right now, it will take some time to sink in. I'm very happy" Imran told reporters after reaching home.
Asked how he felt after breaking the hearts of his female fans, the 27-year-old said: "I've been in a relationship for the past eight years so the point of breaking hearts doesn't arise. Everyone always knew that I'm dating and was never single, so getting married is nothing new."
Imran's maternal uncle, Aamir was dressed in black sherwani with self-print and a maroon churidar and his wife Kiran Rao went traditional too, donning a purple-gold lehenga choli.
"We are very happy for both of them and all our blessing are with them. I hope they have a happy married life and have lots of kids," said a visibly elated Aamir.
The actor will be hosting a grand reception once the couple returns from their honeymoon. The date has not been fixed, but it is scheduled for the end of this month.
After the wedding, the couple hosted a quiet dinner for close family and friends at Taj Lands End Hotel.

Raktha Charitiram: A misunderstood and underappreciated classic
There are some movies which upon release are not appreciated either by critics or audiences. These movies are generally declared a flop. A few years later (or a generation later) critics and new audiences discover their hidden charm. And then it becomes recognised as a classic or becomes a cult favourite.
One of the most famous examples of such movies is Orson Wells’ ‘Citizen Kane’, which he wrote and directed early 20th century. When it was released, it was widely derided. Today, it is always cited as one of the best American films and the American Film Institute declared it the best American film of the 20th century.
Tamil cinema too has its share of such films. One of the earliest examples that come to my mind is ‘Anthanaal’ released early 1950s soon after ‘Parasakthi’. It showcases one of Sivaji Ganesan’s best performances ever. I would go so far as to say it surpasses his performance in the much loved ‘Parasakthi’. If one sees the two films side by side today, Sivaji’s acting in ‘Parasakthi’ looks theatrical but his performance in ‘Anthanaal’ looks very modern. I would go out in a limb and say his performance here is the first example of realism in terms of acting in Tamil movies. Tamil movie would not see such performances (in natural dialogue as spoken by the people in real life and not as though in a stage which veers to classical Tamil) until more than a decade later. Among serious connoisseurs of Tamil films, ‘Anthanaal’ is considered a gem and one of the classics of Tamil cinema.
The same can be said of Mani Ratnam’s ‘Iruvar’. It was a critical and a box-office disaster when it came out. Today it is recognised as one of his finest works and one of the best examples of a bio-pic in the Indian film history.
The list of underappreciated Tamil movies goes on. Add to this list ‘Raktha Charitiram’ (RC) which elsewhere was released as ‘Raktha Charitra 2’ but in Tamil was released as one movie RC. I did not see RC1 (but I certainly will after having seen RC).
First of all RC works as a complete movie by itself. Ram Gopal Varma (RGV) did a great job in condensing RC1 into the first 20 minutes of RC. Surya who plays the character of Surya Reddy makes his appearance after 20 minutes – something unheard of in Tamil movies for a hero. But my goodness! What an unforgettable appearance he makes!
I always thought that only Gautam Vasudev Menon could photograph Surya beautifully. Now, he has tough competition from RGV. RGV has captured the emotions of Surya’s eyes and his physique magnificently. The unusual camera angles for this movie are another plus point. They are also another reason why this movie merits a repeat watching. Watch out for the camera angles in the court scene and in the prison fight scene. The latter is one of the most stunningly choreographed fight scenes ever — all done in slow motion with each sinew of Surya’s muscles lovingly captured by the camera. After watching this scene one immediately thinks of Shakespeare’s line, “What a piece of work is man…in form and moving how express and admirable…”
Then, there are the infamous 360 ͦ camera angles that seem to irritate some. In the first instance it is used in the movie – right after the assassination attempt on Prathap Ravi (Vivek Oberoi) – it works quite well. It seems to symbolise the world in Anantapur (and in Prathap’s and Surya’s life) turning upside down after that attempt. Subsequent attempts work less well. The extreme close ups are effective in that it showcases the actors’ ability to signify the smallest emotions just their facial expressions.
The screenplay was tightly written. There were no unnecessary scenes: each scene progressed the story further. The director manages to hold our attention by focusing on characters and the plot. One does not have to be well versed in Andhra politics to appreciate it as it works well on its own (having read in the internet on real life blood feud between the two characters on whom the story is based. I would say RGV has done a great job in marrying fact and fiction to present a story as he sees it). All the peripheral characters have played their part well. Even if their screen time is only 15 minutes, they came and leave an indelible mark. Sudeep, the famous Kannada actor plays a suave police officer DCP Mohan Prasad (suave police officers are a rare breed in Tamil movies. Most of the police officers even the cool but awkward-with-women Anbuselvam of Khakaa Khakaa are all mean killing machines). You wish you could have seen more of him but he comes, he acts and he delivers. The same for the two female protagonists – Nandini (Radhika Apte), Prathap’s wife and Bhawani (Priyamani), Surya’s wife. Although, given limited screen time due to the nature of the story (the story is about two men after all) they perform admirably: Radhika with a mixture of vulnerability, devotion and toughness; Priyamani with her rage and absolute belief in her husband’s cause. These two women created more impact with their brief screen appearance that the average Tamil film heroine who appears for 5 songs and numerous irritating scenes.
The pulsating background score is another major plus. It gives the movie an almost Tarantinoish feel to it. Rarely has background score and slow motion come together so effectively in a movie. Since there are no duets every 10 minutes and only background songs that leads the story forward, it gives hope that Tamil movies can break away from the song and dance routine.
Much has been made of the violence in the movie and how it is not suitable for family audience. Of course, this is not a movie to bring kids and its ratings clearly says so. I can understand if the Hindi audience were squeamish about violence since their movies are usually urban and foreign based laced liberally with sex, comedy and glamour. But for Tamil audience, violence in movies is like mother’s milk. One just has to see the trailer of ‘Siruthai’ to see how much violence in movies that we take for granted. Sure there is violence in RC but in the end it is not as gruesome as some make it out to be.
One cannot talk of this movie without talking about the stellar performances of Vivek Oberoi and Surya. In RC the Tamil version, Vivek stands toe-to-toe with Surya. I have not seen him in RGV’s ‘Company’ but saw him in ‘Yuva’ (Siddharth was better in the Tamil version) and the sleep-inducing ‘Prince’. But who would have guessed he has such fire and intensity in him? The present generation of Hindi actors except for a few (Amir Khan, Ajay Devgan to name a few) can’t seem to convey the feeling of anger and hatred. Looking at some of these pretty faces one wonders whether they can get violent at a lemon. After languishing in mediocre roles, Vivek finally finds one where he can sink his teeth into and he does a magnificent job.
As for Surya, those of us who thought he outdid himself in ‘Vaaranam Ayiram’ and would not find a more challenging role, RC is proof that he gets better with every challenging role given to him. He certainly is one of the most talented actors working in Indian movies today. Surya is one of those rare actors in Tamil movies who lets his eyes do the talking. And RGV has certainly done a splendid job in showcasing this. Rarely, has an actor’s eyes been used so effectively in a movie. The way his eyes change from anger to tenderness is remarkable. Some standout moments in the movie are: the first time he sees the DCP, he looks at him with anger. The moment he realises that the DCP is not as bad as he thought, his eyes soften towards the DCP; when he sees his family massacred, the agony and the horror in his eyes is felt by the audience — and the involuntary twitching in his left eye – seems instinctive rather than put on; when the opposition strikes a deal with him he smiles – with his eyes. How does Surya do it? If this does not get him the National Award, I don’t know what else will.
The scene at the climax when he accomplishes his mission is another masterpiece. There is an equal mixture of joy, rage, happiness and sadness at all that he lost and won to arrive at this moment. And in the scene in the jail where the DCP comes to pay him a visit, the way the camera spies on Surya as Surya slowly looks up at the DCP from under his lids – he comes across as menacing and evil. Perhaps, he has not realised what he has become, something which the DCP reminds Surya. It is one of the fine examples in Tamil films where dialogues get replaced by facial movements. By right Vivek and Surya ought to get some honours for their work here. But whether or not the film fraternity recognises their work remains to be seen.
In Tamil movies where characters are usually portrayed in black and white, it is a pleasure to see these two main characters shrouded in grey. In the end Prathap and Surya are tragic figures. Though ruthless to their enemies, they are also loving sons and husbands to their women. They were two ordinary men who would have been content to lead a simple life but forces beyond their control force them to go on a wrong path. As in most cases like these, once the wrong path is tread, there is no turning back for these two. Blood begets more blood. In that these two men have our sympathies and they do not come out looking totally bad or good. The movie ends with the now widowed Nandini looking at an interview of Surya on TV. The camera focuses on her baby boy she is holding. Would the blood feud follow into the next generation? (Interestingly, Surya Reddy also has a son). That’s the tantalising question posed by the director.
Is RGV glorifying violence and revenge? Of course not! He seems to warn that revenge is a path that is never ending with tragic results for all parties. And events differ when seen from different person’s perceptive.
Is RC for the masses? The few young men sitting behind me were yawning away, hoping perhaps for an item dance to spruce up their interest. If you can’t abide to watch a movie that does not explain how A gets to D without showing you the B and C parts, then avoid this movie. But if you are tired of watching the same old run of the mill where boy meets girl, along with some plot that involves songs and dances in foreign locale then RC is or you.
A last word on subtitles. This movie in Malaysia was shown with English subtitles. The subtitling was good 85% of the time. During crucial moments in the film it was missing. Perhaps the producers should have paid more attention to this.
Whatever the shortcomings of this film, RC will stand the test of time. I am sure in later years it will gain in appreciation. It would be a pity to miss it.
PS: A few days after I written this piece, Maddelacheruvu Suri, on whom Surya’s character was based was gunned down by his own trusted men. Suri had watched both RCs was stunned by Surya’s portrayal of himself and claimed that he was henceforth a fan of Surya. Although, he had a few criticisms in the way the facts were manipulated in the movie, he was more than pleased with the way he had been portrayed by Surya.

Sach Keh Raha Hai Deewana Dil
Dil Na Kisi Se Lagaana) - 2
Jhoothe Hai Yaar Ke Vaade Saare
Jhoothi Hai Pyaar Ki Kasmein
Maine Har Lamha Jisse Chaaha, Jisse Pooja
Ussi Ne Yaaron Mera Dil
Toda Toda, Tanha Tanha Chhoda
Sach Keh Raha Hai Deewana Dil
Dil Na Kisi Se Lagaana
Jhoothe Hai Yaar Ke Vaade Saare
Jhoothi Hai Pyaar Ki Kasmein
Maine Har Lamha Jisse Chaaha, Jisse Pooja
Ussi Ne Yaaron Mera Dil
Toda Toda, Tanha Tanha Chhoda
Mausam Mausam Tha Suhaana Bada
Mausam Mausam Maine Dekha Usse
Hua Main Paagal Bas Pal Bhar Mein, Aah
Mausam Mausam Tha Suhaana Bada
Mausam Mausam Maine Dekha Usse
Hua Main Paagal Bas Pal Bhar Mein
Aake Basi Hai Voh Mere Mann Mein
Uski Kami Hai Ab Jeevan Mein
Voh Door Hai Meri Nazron Se
Kyoon Usse Main Chaahoon
Oh, Sach Keh Raha Hai Deewana Dil
Dil Na Kisi Se Lagaana
Jhoothe Hai Yaar Ke Vaade Saare
Jhoothi Hai Pyaar Ki Kasmein
Maine Har Lamha Jisse Chaaha, Jisse Pooja
Ussi Ne Yaaron Mera Dil
Toda Toda, Tanha Tanha Chhoda
Sundar Sundar Voh Haseena Badi
Sundar Sundar Main To Khone Laga
Uske Nashe Mein Bin Piye Baheka, Aah
Sundar Sundar Voh Haseena Badi
Sundar Sundar Main To Khone Laga
Uske Nashe Mein Bin Piye Baheka
Ek Din Usse Bhoola Doonga Main
Uske Nishaan Mita Doonga Main
Chaahoonga Na Main Us Patthar Ko
Jaa Usse Bata De
(la Lai Lai Lai Lai La Le
La Lai Lai Lai Lai La) - 2
Maine Har Lamha Jisse Chaaha, Jisse Pooja
Ussi Ne Yaaron Mera Dil
Toda Toda, Tanha Tanha Chhoda

World saves the man
Man saves the heart
Heart saves love

Mujhe raat din bas mujhe chaahti ho video song lyrics Sonu Niigaam SANGHARSH

Mm hmm hmm hmm, eh hey, la la la
Mujhe raat din, bas mujhe chaahti ho - 2
Kaho na kaho mujhko sab kuch pataa hai
Haan, karoon kya mujhe tum bataati nahin ho
Chhupaati ho mujhse yeh tumhaari khataa hai
Aa mujhe raat din, bas mujhe chaahti ho
Meri beqaraari ko had se badhaana
Tumhe khoob aata hai baatein banaana
Nigaahein milaake yun mera chain lena
Sataake mohabbat mein yun dard dena
Mujhe dekhke aise palkein jhukaana
Sharaarat nahin hai to phir aur kya hai
Aa mujhe raat din, bas mujhe chaahti ho
Tumhe neend aayegi ab na mere bin
Mujhe hai yakeen aisa aayega ek din
Khuli teri zulfon mein soya rahoonga
Tere hi khayaalon mein khoya rahoonga
Kabhi gaur se meri aankhon mein dekho
Meri jaan tumhaara hi chehraa chhupaa hai
Aa mujhe raat din, bas mujhe chaahti ho
Kaho na kaho mujhko sab kuch pataa hai
Haan, karoon kya mujhe tum bataati nahin ho
Chhupaati ho mujhse yeh tumhaari khataa hai
Aa mujhe raat din, bas mujhe chaahti ho
Mm, hmm hmm hmm, eh hey, la la la
mujhe raat din :
Aye kaash ke hum hosh mein ab aane naa paaye video Song Lyrics Kabhi Haan Kabhi Naa 1994

aye kaash ke hum hosh mein ab aane naa paaye
aye kaash ke hum hosh mein ab aane naa paaye
bas nagmein tere pyaar ke, gaate hee jaaye
aye kaash ke hum hosh mein ab aane naa paaye
aye kaash ke hum hosh mein ab aane naa paaye
khilatee, mahakatee ye julfon kee shaam
hasate, khanakate ye hothhon ke jaam
khilatee, mahakatee ye julfon kee shaam
hasate, khanakate ye hothhon ke jaam
aa zoom ke saath uthhaye, bas nagmein tere pyaar ke, gaate hee jaaye
aye kaash ke hum hosh mein ab aane naa paaye
aye kaash ke hum hosh mein ab aane naa paaye
bas nagmein tere pyaar ke, gaate hee jaaye
aye kaash ke hum hosh mein ab aane naa paaye
ho bas agar tum humaare sanam
hum to sitaaron pe rakh de kadam
ho bas agar tum humaare sanam
hum to sitaaron pe rakh de kadam
saaraa jahaan bhool jaaye, bas nagmein tere pyaar ke ..
aye kaash ke hum hosh mein ab aane naa paaye
aye kaash ke hum hosh mein ab aane naa paaye
bas nagmein tere pyaar ke, gaate hee jaaye
aye kaash ke hum hosh mein ab aane naa paaye
aye kaash ke hum hosh mein ab aane naa paaye
