After his success with 'Golmaal 3' Rohit Shetty will remake among the funniest Hindi films of all times 'Angoor', sources tell us. The rib tickling 1982 original by Gulzar stayed with generations, especially for unparalleled performances by Sanjeev Kumar, who plays a detective novel aficionado and Deven Verma, who pretends to be a bhaang lover. Both characters have their twin counterparts and all hell breaks loose when they finally encounter each other.What precedes this encounter is a series of blunders that has us in splits. Of course, Moushumi Chatterjee's intemperate bawling tendencies just add to the pandemonium.

Rohit Shetty is now attempting to remake this film and the role that Sanjeev Kumar played in the 1982 hit, has been bagged by none other than Shah Rukh Khan, who Shetty is working with for the first time. The original was based on Shakespeare's play 'A Comedy of Errors'. Apparently, for the modern version, Shetty is likely to rope in Tusshar Kapoor for playing Deven Varma's role. Kareena Kapoor, after her three stints with Rohit Shetty in the 'Golmaal 'series, has developed a great rapport with him so she is bound to be the leading lady.
